ABOUT US

SCIC was set up in 2024. It has two principal partners, the Strategic Consortium of Intelligence Professionals (SCIP) of the USA and the China Institute of Competitive Intelligence (CICI) from Beijing.

 

Based in Singapore, SCIC brings global expertise in Competitive Intelligence to South East Asia through and with SCIP and CICI.

Tan Jee Say

Founding Director

Tan Jee Say has extensive working experience in public service, investment banking and fund management. He was head of economic planning and was secretary to Dr Albert Winsemius, the economic adviser to the Singapore government. He was subsequently appointed principal private secretary to the deputy prime minister who became the prime minister.

 

Jee Say later entered investment banking and worked in international banks like Morgan Grenfell and Standard Chartered. He was recruited into fund management at Govett and became its regional managing director/CEO of Asia-Pacific.

 

A graduate of Oxford University, Jee Say was appointed a Fellow of Harvard and Visiting Fellow of Oxford. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment which is headquartered in London.

 

He had previously contested in elections in Singapore including the 2011 presidential election. He is now focused on what he hopes will help to nurture the next generation.
